The Little Wedding Helper
It’s been a busy few months here at Evoke Pictures trying to finish our new website in time for Christmas and I’m delighted to say we got there in the end. When it came to our new blog we decided to start from scratch and launch the new site with some fresh blogs packed full of some of the work we have been doing over the last 12 months. I can’t think of a better one to start with than this styled shoot, which is full of colour and creativity.
It was set at The Forge, a beautiful industrial loft conversion in the heart of Bristol that’s all massive windows, exposed brickwork with bare floorboards and semi-industrial chic. Its natural light is instantly inspirational for any photographer!
Working with Kirsten, aka The Little Wedding Helper, is always exciting as you know its going to be a really fun, relaxed day working with some incredible wedding suppliers. We love the chance to be creative and Kirsten’s eye for detail and styling ideas are always exceptional!
The key piece of inspiration came from Harriet De Winton, who has started her own stationary business, specializing in calligraphy and watercolours. Kirsten’s table set-up with Emma Norton’s Flowers; Bake My Cake’s incredible gold watercolour cake, biscuits and meringues; complimented by Harriet’s incredible watercolours worked in harmony making our job so easy.
Here are just a few highlights from the day!
